I'm in a shitty situation at home (it's toxic and emotionally abusive), so I thought I'd put up a few places you can help out, or get commissions, or generally read more of my work. I'm a queer, chronically ill writer and artist, and honestly I'd just appreciate any support ♥
Basically, I'm a millennial,
get me out of here.
Some of this is more mental health support (nice t-shirts on DeliveryCode, leaving comments on AO3 etc), others is more monetary support.
Best Options for Support: - AO3 - This one's obvious but I have an Archive Of Our Own account. If you like my work on there, telling people about it, leaving comments and kudos etc, all that really helps!
- Ko-Fi - If you'd like to throw me a tip in support and thanks for what I'm writing, here's a good place for it. I really appreciate anything I get because, as it says on that sidebar: I am smol and broke. I write fanfic for fun, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to offer this up just in case.
- Patreon - This is my original work's current home. I write sci-fi, fantasy, and currently I'm writing a polyam romantic drama. You can read more about that there, and my original work is (in future) posted there for $1/post on a creation-based system (aka if I don't work I don't get money). If you can't afford to support me on Patreon, you can recommend my writing to other people, which is one of the best ways to support me without spending a dime. You can also retweet my Patreon adverts etc. Basically, any help getting the word out is amazing. If you can't afford to be a patron, you can also hit follow and watch and interact with my free posts. This would mean the world to me.
- DeliveryCode - You can send cash gifts, or buy things off my wishlist (once I add things to it.)
- Itch.io - It's not just games (but I do some Twine games, too, which I'd love to post on here at some point), they also do books. My books and serials will be up here when they're in a final, post-alpha stage.
Secondary Options & General Social Media: - Tumblr - I have it. It's not very active.
- Twitter - Far more active. This is mostly art, rather than writing, but there's a bunch of art on there too. If you see me posting art, please retweet it etc - this is one of the biggest helps you can give without paying money!
- Pillowfort - I haven't really gotten started on here yet, but it looks good.
- Mastodon - Again, I'm not really active here, but I'm trying!
Writing Commissions: Rates- Ficlet (~750 words): $3
- One-shot (~3000 words): $6
- Multi-chapter (~5 chapters, varying lengths): $25
- Long-form (5+ chapters or a fic that will be higher than 15k words): Ask me for a quote. It really depends on what you're wanting ♥
Content
- Anything below an E rating goes by the rates above.
- If you're requesting smut, add $2 per $3 to the fee (so a smut ficlet would be $5, a smutty oneshot would be $10 and so on).
- If you want me to write OCs, the price will go up by $2 per $3, the same as smut - and if it's a smutty OC fic, it'll stack (so a smutty OC ficlet would be $7, a smutty OC oneshot would be $14).
What I'd Rather Not Write:- Bestiality (werewolves/vampires/merfolk etc/anthro are fine, I'm just not writing beastiality with flat up animals)
Fandoms:
I know that sounds weird, but there's a lot of shows or fandoms I'm in that I wouldn't really think to list. If I was listing my fandoms here I'd probably include things I'd already written for, but there's other things I'd be happy
to write for (like the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, for instance). I'd much rather you ask and I have to tell you I can't do that, than put down a list of fifteen fandoms when there's a hundred I've forgotten.
That said, if it's a book it's probably not something I can write for unless it's Our Bloody Pearl as I don't read much. However, TV shows, movies etc are all on the list of highly possible.
I'll do Reader x Character fic, too.
I will also write your OCs if that's something you want - however, I'll need a good primer on them, examples of how they talk, things like that. I'll go through all that before any payment is sent, though!
How to Commission: Multiple options:
How You'll Pay: You can pay using
PayPal, or using
Ko-Fi (if you don't mind it not being exact (Ko-fi is in increments of $3)), or you can pay via the "Cash Gifts" option on my
DeliveryCode page (which works really well when you can't use PayPal!). If you don't have either of these things, we can probably figure something out.
Art CommissionsComing soon.
Feel free to ask any questions in comments! Anonymous commenting is on, so you don't need a Dreamwidth account for that.
